Darien Public Schools: Closed through Wednesday, March 25. Schools will resume on Thursday, March 26.
Easton, Redding and Region 9 Public Schools: Closed through Friday, March 20.
Fairfield Public Schools: Closed until further notice with distance‐learning instruction scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 17.
Greenwich Public Schools: Closed through the end of this week began Thursday, March 12. The district does not have any COVID-19 cases, but is taking the step because Superintendent Toni Jones said, "There is still cause for concern with the growing number of cases given our proximity to affected areas in New York and Southwestern Connecticut."
Monroe Public Schools: Closed from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20.
New Canaan Public Schools: Closed for 14 calendar days that started on Thursday, March 12, to help limit the potential for “community spread” of the virus after a resident of the town, an elderly man living in a private residence, was diagnosed with COVID-19.
Norwalk Public Schools: Beginning Monday, March 16, all Norwalk Public Schools will be closed for a two-week period.
Ridgefield Public Schools: Closed until further notice.
Shelton Public Schools: Closed until further notice
Stamford Public Schools: Closed through at least Friday, March 27.
Stratford Public Schools: Closed until further notice after an elementary school student was diagnosed with the virus.
Trumbull Public and Private Schools: Closed until further notice.
Westport Public Schools: Closed until further notice due to possible exposure to the novel coronavirus by parents and students.
Weston Public Schools: Closed until further notice because of the potential exposure to COVID-1 by members of the school community.
Wilton Public Schools: Closed until further notice after the district was notified that parents of one or more students had direct contact with a presumptive positive COVID-19 person.
